To optimize benefits, reduce costs for businesses, and enhance security, NCB encourages customers to actively use the free notification feature via Electronic Banking applications (Internet Banking/Mobile Banking):

Lifetime free of charge

- Enhanced information security (only the account owner or authorized persons can log in to monitor account balance information)

- No delay

- Does not consume device storage, allowing data to be stored for years

- Unlimited information capacity per notification, enabling more transaction details per message and easier review in any situation

- Balance notifications can be received even when the customer is abroad

- Strengthened information security

With this change, NCB encourages customers to shift from using SMS Banking (subject to fees) to managing balance fluctuations via Electronic Banking applications (permanently free of charge) to help reduce costs for both customers and the bank. The fees charged by the bank are based on the rates published by telecom service providers and are applied only to balance fluctuation messages, while other messages such as OTPs, personal information change notifications upon request, and payment reminders are covered by the bank.

To cancel the Automatic Account Transaction and Balance Notification via SMS service, please contact the nearest NCB Branch/Transaction Office for assistance.
